Today, Year Five & Six children went to Eaton Socon Cricket Club to take
part in the St Neots Kwick Cricket Competition.
The team consisted of
Levi R, Leo L, Matthew P, George P, Ocean P, Ruby M, Ben S and Teddy B.
The
first match was against Little Paxton, with the match resulting in a
loss for Crosshall. Final score Crosshall 205 – Little Paxton 244.
Our
second match was against Priory 1. This was a much closer match with
Ruby scoring a 6 and Ben scoring 3 successive 6s. The final score was
Priory 259 – Crosshall 246.
The final match was a play
off for 7th and 8th place. We were against Priory 2. We won this match
with a score of 238 to Priory’s 206 to finish 7th.
